about

Todays drone was created by Infinity's Astrum, the solo electronic/modular project of Ottawa based artist Nick Doyle.

To create the drone, Doyle wrote software to scan an image taken inside the James Webb Space Telescope while it was undergoing cryogenic testing. The temperature when this image was taken was -369.7 degrees. Doyle's program translates the image into a series of folded sine waves.
